(Just an idea to try and connect both mine and L-5's characters together)
The council room was roaring with conflict on the most recent topic of the village, Amaya Tanaka and whether she should be separated from the rest of her class due to previous disasters.
“If she is put with other children this could be the worst decision the Konoha Council have made in years.” An old man stands up and walks into the centre of the council circle. “We all know what happens when her bonds with friends are corrupted.”
A young woman shouted above the old man (she was a very powerful ninja of a Jonin rank.
“ I agree with what you are saying, Kiyoshi but it is unfair on the child to keep her away from the others.” The woman stood up to catch everyone’s attention. “We only have ourselves to blame for the Konoha Disasters. If we had kept better care of Amaya and not let her get so wound up about not being allowed to make new friends then maybe those storms and hurricanes wouldn’t have ever happened.”
The old man sat down and kept quiet. The council room went silent as the sound of footsteps echoed in the hallway outside.
“Everyone stand for the Hokage!”
The whole circle of councillors stood up and waited for the Hokage to enter. Naruto Uzumaki, the 6th Hokage entered the room in his long white robe and sat down at his desk at the end of the room.
“I’m guessing you guys have been talking about Amaya Tanaka. Surely you’re not going to let her learn about being a ninja by herself are you?” He slouched in his chair and spoke to the council casually. The council stayed quiet.
“Well if you don’t know what to do with her then she’ll be under my care in my own Genin Team.”
Most of the council agreed with the Hokage but one clearly disapproved of the idea. Iruka Umino stood up furiously and shouted his views to the Hokage.
“What?! You cannot be serious! She is the worst ninja in my class! She failed all her theory and physical exams. Only the top three students were allowed in your team, why would you want a child of such low skills and standards in the team?”
Naruto smirked. “It’s my team, I can have who-ever I want in it” The council stayed silent and Iruka sat back down unable to win the argument. “Well that’s that.” The Hokage stood up and picked up some random files from his desk. “I’ll go announce the good news to Amaya.”
